This Refund Policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work for Smart Living MY. Some offerings may not be available at all times; if you purchase from us, the terms below apply alongside any offer-specific terms shown at checkout.
1. Eligibility overview
- Physical goods (if offered): 30-day return window from delivery date for unused, unopened items in original packaging.
- Defective or damaged items: eligible for replacement or refund upon verification (photos may be requested).
- Digital items (e.g., downloads, guides): refundable within 14 days if not accessed or downloaded. If accessed, refunds are limited to cases of technical failure or misrepresentation.
- Services and subscriptions (if offered): pro-rated refunds may apply where legally required or as stated in the specific service terms.
2. Non-returnable items
- Downloaded or accessed digital content after delivery.
- Perishables or items explicitly marked “final sale.”
- Gift cards and promotional vouchers.
- Customized or personalized items unless defective.
3. Return condition
- Items must be unused and in the same condition received, with all accessories and manuals.
- We may refuse returns that show signs of wear, damage, or missing parts not due to our error.
4. How to start a return or refund

5. Shipping and costs
- If the return is due to our error (wrong, defective, or damaged item), we will cover reasonable return shipping or offer a prepaid label.
- For discretionary returns (e.g., changed mind), you are responsible for return shipping. We recommend a trackable method. We are not responsible for items lost in transit.
6. Refund method and timing
- Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
- Processing times vary by bank or provider (typically 5–10 business days after we approve and, where applicable, receive the return).
- We may deduct amounts reflecting missing components or damage not due to our error; we will notify you before processing any partial refund.
7. Exchanges
If you need the same item replaced (e.g., defective or damaged), we will exchange subject to stock availability. Otherwise, we may process a refund and ask you to place a new order if desired.
8. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first so we can investigate quickly. Unresolved disputes may be escalated through your payment provider; we will provide relevant records in response to chargebacks.
9. Local consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction (including Malaysia). Where those rights provide you with additional remedies, they prevail.
